there was a great quote on Good As You earlier, on an unrelated topic, but it applies: he was talking about how the rabid anti-gay right is releasing election stories about how the “militant gay activist” groups (i always love that word “militant.” like we’re storming Congress or something and staging coups)…but about how “militant gay activist” groups are SO heavily financing elections that would serve to promote our “militant gay agenda” (“you’ll have to pry this cock out of my cold dead mouth, goddammit!”), as if we “militants” were somehow subverting democracy by doing so. anyway, this is the quote:
