AP: Obama has clinched the Democratic nomination.
Barack Obama effectively clinched the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, based on an Associated Press tally of convention delegates, becoming the first black candidate ever to lead his party into a fall campaign for the White House.
Campaigning on an insistent call for change, Obama outlasted former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in a historic race that sparked record turnout in primary after primary, yet exposed deep racial divisions within the party.
The AP tally was based on public commitments from delegates as well as more than a dozen private commitments. It also included a minimum number of delegates Obama was guaranteed even if he lost the final two primaries in South Dakota and Montana later in the day.
Now the real campaign starts. I will use these pages in the coming months to continue to prove, beyond a shadow of any doubt, that the ONLY choice for any true American patriot is Barack Obama.
Stay tuned.

He’s got my vote. Unless he becomes a gay muslim black liberation theology communist in the next 6 months. =)
Really though, this is a good thing. McWalnuts is horrible. Comrade Clinton is just about as bad.

Yep.
Spread the word.
The biggest fight of this campaign is going to be to show the true records and beliefs of the two candidates to people, and to rise above the din of what the media wants to propagate as “the issues.”

And put a sticker on your car.
Park it at church.

Hahaha…I’d probably be kicked out of the congregation. Oh and I’d get egged at the parkinglot of my work. Both my church and work are on Tinker AFB.
I don’t see many Christians in OK supporting Obama. I’ll be one of the few. Most of my friends give me so much crap about it already. Their arguments suck ass though, so I’m not worried.

THAT’S EXACTLY WHY YOU HAVE TO PUT THE STICKERS ON YOUR CAR.
Adam’s going to do it and he’s parked on a base as of tomorrow.
The flip side is that people might ask questions…there’s enough discontent, especially in the Military, that people, if they understand the true records of these two men, might just be looking to make a break from the dark side, but feel uncomfortable going “against the grain.”
I know Mullen sent out a hysterical “shut up shut up shut up!” letter recently, but as long as you’re not purporting to represent the Military in a campaign, you’re within your rights.
Or, as Adam put it: “Fuck them. I’ll say what I want.”

Sometimes it’s as much about the messenger as it is about the message.
Case in point: Scott McClellan’s book contains virtually no new information, yet the White House and the conservative media are going absolutely ballistic right now because one of their own is saying it.

That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking.
I think “Obama 08′” would look great next to my Jesus Is Lord fish. =)
“WTF IS A CHRISTIAN DOING WITH THAT STICKER! I MUST TALK TO THIS PERSON, THEIR SOUL MIGHT BE FORFIT!”
And so the conversations begin.

Yep yep yep.

Especially to counter the number of sycophant voices in the Christian media which will continue to perpetuate the idea that Obama might be the anti-Christ.
June 3, 2008 at 7:06 pm

John Hagee says the anti-Christ is going to be a fierce gay Jew.
June 3, 2008 at 7:18 pm
Seen that, yawn, he’s just trying to be different. No reputable Christian in history has ever said that.

Antichrist, schmantichrist, pantychrist.
I think the Kingdom of God is now, and we’re in it.
June 3, 2008 at 7:35 pm
Yeah well…I think Jesus will return.
Even while yes, the Kingdom is here and now, just like He said. But Jesus WILL return.
Guess we’ll see?
June 3, 2008 at 7:47 pm
It will be a surprise!
