I mean “dirty” in the sense that, without mincing words AT ALL, it cuts right to the heart of the matter. “Dirty” in a reallllllly good sense.
The same way the new book The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder is “dirty.” It’s a “no more bullshit” approach, and I’m really glad to see Democrats on the offensive.

Joe: I think it’s dirty because the baby must have poo’ed his pants. (Hint: If he doesn’t sign up…he doesn’t have to worry about going to Iraq. But then, if things keep going the way they seem to be headed—that cute little fella won’t have to go anywhere…IRAQ WILL BE HERE!)
