WOW, Fred Barnes of Weekly Standard agrees with Phil Gramm, says Americans are a bunch of whiners.

I’m almost inclined to say “Poor John McCain.” With Republican friends like these, Barack Obama doesn’t even really need to say anything. Here’s Fred Barnes saying that Phil Gramm’s comments about the shitty economy being all in our heads and how Americans are just fucking whiners are “straight talk,” and that it’s really bad for John McCain to repudiate these kinds of comments, because…I dunno. These people are really weird. Even Mara Liasson, usually a center-right douchebag, has to correct Fred Barnes on this one.
