A Little Perspective, Please
As Obama wraps up his trip abroad, and as the corporate media continues asking him stupid questions about whether the surge worked (NOT REALLY, but then again, I remember the stated aims of the surge and the chronology of what effing happened — do you?), and as John McCain now has the audacity to use a little Pentagon manoeuvre he essentially cooked up to accuse Barack Obama of having little regard for the troops (oh, John McCain, shall we pull up your voting record as regards our troops and veterans?), perhaps we should pause to remember how our current President handles himself when HE goes to Germany:
