Well I told my friend (not for obama or mccain, but would vote mccain over obama by far) about how this poll seems to be on the outside, besides being reported by AP, and the major news outlets were reporting much closer numbers. He didn't buy it. I told him just wait for all this faith forum crap to die down, the conventions to finish, and then we'll see were walnuts is sitting. Also, I was crucified at work today for being an Obama 'lover' (lol as if, I just want to vote for him). Bunch of McCain fans...and they think HE'S the pro-military pro veterans pro military pay raise guy. Plus the spouted a lot of "Obama is a communist...maybe terrorist...came out of nowhere...hates the military...raising taxes...evil democrat...etc" and they wouldn't listen to me at all, it was ridiculously frustrating. Oh well.

That Zogby poll is an outlier. Every other poll gives Obama a couple point lead.

Also bear in mind, the media portrayed the Russia/Georgia situation as a win for McCain, even though it wasn't. I don't see much reason to get worried...the campaign hasn't even really started yet. Once the conventions happen, the veeps are announced, etc.

Plus, polling itself is kind of weird this year, considering the fact that Obama's ground organization in registering voters and activating registered but complacent voters is unprecedented in American history -- so the polling companies are having a really hard time gauging "likely voters."
