But, but, but….P.O.W., P.O.W., P.O.W.!!!
This is becoming silly.
John McCain on the Tonight Show last night:
When the subject of houses came up again, after a commercial break, Mr. McCain tried to answer it by invoking the fact that he was a prisoner of war – which he and his campaign have been using much more lately than they have in the past.
“Could I just mention to you, Jay, that in a moment of seriousness I spent five and a half years in a prison cell,’’ he said when he was asked about the houses again. “I didn’t have a house, I didn’t have a kitchen table, I didn’t have a table, I didn’t have a chair.’’
But now you have a million kitchen tables and chairs and prison cells (probably) and you apparently didn’t learn any lessons from your time as a P.O.W. so shut up, you’re devaluing the experience for other soldiers.

Seriously, all McCain can do anymore is try and play for the sympathy vote and launch negative ads. He knows he stands no chance if people actually look at their position on the issues . . . so he must resort to this.
*shakes head* Sad, really.

Yep.
It’s sad because I remember a time when Democrats and Republicans alike respected John McCain, even if we didn’t agree on issues.
