The REAL story of Sarah Palin’s attempt to ban books from the Wasilla library
There has been a list going around, which I knew was fake the moment I saw it, because it’s just the current list of books that have been banned at one time or another in the United States. Lots of good books on the list if you’re a reader, but it’s not Sarah Palin’s list. I mean, think about it, those of you who were had: Do you really think Sarah Palin was familiar with any of those books except like, maybe, Cujo? Riiiiiight. Anyway.
Brian Ross, committing actual journalism again, uncovers the real story, and it’s much creepier than the banned-books list. She’s even more of a bigot than we knew:

Sarah Palin is to women what Clarence Thomas is to the civil rights movement.
Ya have to hand it to the GOP: They sure know how to pull the wool over your eyes. Imagine: A black man who hates civil rights. Now a woman who is opposed to women’s issues.
She is just George Bush with a bra!
