BriWi on Letterman
I missed this last week, but the night after the vice presidential debate, Brian Williams was a guest on David Letterman, and they had quite an interesting conversation about the debate itself, Sarah Palin, and the state of the presidential race. It’s in two segments, and in the second segment, Brian Williams makes a comparison between Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan that had occurred to me in a reflective moment. In a big way, Barack Obama may be for this generation of new and younger voters what Ronald Reagan was for the country in 1980.
At least Barack Obama supports better policies, so that, in thirty years, when we’re in our 50’s and 60’s and invoking Obama’s name every five seconds, we won’t sound like such asses.
