Good lord. Another right-winger threatening violence if Barack Obama is elected president. Because they’re so different from radical Islamists, seriously. Just another rabid right-tard nutsac to add to a growing list of rabid right-tard nutsacs. The man on the right is named Wade Williams, and here’s what he did:
OCTOBER 8–Angered by a delay in the receipt of his voter registration card, a Louisiana man today threatened election officials, claiming that he urgently needed to cast a ballot to “keep the nigger out of office,” according to police. Wade Williams, 75, was arrested this morning on a felony terrorizing charge after allegedly calling the Registrar of Voters and warning that he would come to the state office and empty his shotgun unless he got his registration card. Using profanity and racial slurs, Williams told a state official “about needing to vote to ‘keep the nigger out of office,” according to an Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office affidavit, a copy of which you’ll find here. Though the document does not name the candidate to which Williams is so violently opposed, it seems likely he was referring to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. After being arrested at his Monroe home, Williams was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center, where the below mug shot was snapped. En route to the jail, he “continued his ‘tirade’ about niggers and also stated that he had a shotgun, but had it hidden at his residence,” reported Lt. Michael Judd.
I think it’s fair to ask: Why are white men so stupid? I mean, they have the same opportunities as everybody else, yet so many of them grow up to be functionally retarded hicks.

Second, you couldn’t explain what ACORN does accurately if your life depended on it.

Well…you seem quite ready to attack me, but aren’t very interested in the actual issues I outlined.
You apparently don’t seem to get that Socialism is a go between. Marx…you know…Karl Marx? He claimed it was the center of the transition between Capitalism and Communism. It’s similar to HIV and full blown AIDS. Yeah…one’s eventually going to become the other…
And, I do not use the word interchangeably. I used the word “Communist Manifesto”, because it was one of the most important books about Communism and Socialism in the 20th century. It was instrumental, along with Lenin and Trotsky’s books in exposing people to socialist and communist philosophy.
I know quite a bit about both of them, and am very aware of how they differ.
And, as for the constitution bit, that is completely laughable. I am well studied in that area. But, see- you are clearly out to attack me, and not my claims.
Your assumption of my lack of knowledge is pig-headed and elitist. I know “elitist” is generally a word liberals like to use, but I’ll go ahead and throw it out there before you get the chance. As for ACORN- they wear MANY hats, and are a conglaumeration of different businesses. I know what their functions associated with the voting process are- and I know what their political affiliations and branches deal with.

Alright. Well…I’ve posted multiple times.
But, here I go again…
Well…since Venezuelan Socialism is a hot topic in my household (My husband is a native, and most of his family still lives there), I’ll start with that. Up until the 90’s- Venezuela was still a pretty Democratic nation. Around 2000, things started going waayyy downhill. Venezuela is currently playing at socialism (more of a dictatorship, actually)…but, are well on their way to Communism.
I was also recently in Cuba… got a good look at how Latin style communist dictatorships look. From what I can tell…socialist nations typically either become communist style dictatorships, or get overhauled. Sorry. I can give you multiple examples from history (do I even have to?). But, cannot recall one time that straight up socialism didn’t go sour.

1. Venezuelan socialism is not the only kind of socialism in S. Am. Most of the continent is going to Democratic Socialism, and it’s working out marvelously.
2. Castro is a dictator. Duh. Chavez is showing signs of it, however, his people are serving as a check. Nonetheless, he needs to be watched.

On their website, it says that they are:

Alright…so the people keep Chavez in check…that’s a laugh. People are absolutely petrified of that blithering idiot… See…people die. In fact, a good family friend’s son was murdered last year in an interesting turn of events (he was anti-chavez…) I don’t know what you think you know about Venezuela or Venezuelans…but, my opinion of it is that the truth is a lot less like what you hear on the news or read in English.
And, democratic socialism is working marvelously, eh? Yeah…that’s what I gathered in my travels in C. and S. America… I guess throwing rotted chickens out of the back of military trucks onto the streets during Christmas for the poor is their way of stamping out “trickle down economics”….ha.
And, socialism in “polite society” may not be so bad- but it is NOT a value that coincides with our constitution. Our founding fathers specifically felt that large governments were dangerous instruments of oppression. I do not need anyone to tell me how to talk, how to act or to take my money and apply it to social causes I want nothing to do with. It is NOT our job to provide freeloaders with healthcare, just like it is not our job to pay income taxes. Income taxation is not legal. Everyone knows it, but nobody really wants to step up and challenge it….save, perhaps Ron Paul.
So, whatever. I guess it all boils down to a difference of opinion. I want to see America how it should be- aligned with the constitution. You want to see it become socialist. Have fun with that.

Hey…Ireland’s healthcare is socialized…and it FUCKING SUCKS. England’s too. You know how BAD the NHS is? My friends pay to go to private doctors instead. My friend’s mother died last year- a casualty of one of the ridiculous numbers of medical malpractice that comes from socialisation.
Socialising heathcare is a way to put a bandaid over the pharm and biotech industry abuses…instead of tackling them. It is a weak white flag of surrender. If we could beat down that industry- and put it in it’s place…our healthcare would be affordable as fuck.
And, I don’t want socialised healthcare- because I don’t use conventional medicine. So, I guess you could see why I think it’s ridiculous that I’m not given the choice of whether or not I WANT to pay for healthcare. I don’t think it’s the government’s job to dole out my hard earned money, dude. I just don’t agree with that.

It’s a truism that we’re only as strong as our weakest link, and if we keep supporting policies that widen the gap between the haves and have nots and believe that it’s wrong to offer a hand up to people who need it, then this country’s going to fall, like so many empires before it.
The people who cry “socialist” at every turn have been conditioned to do so by leaders on the right who use fear to keep people voting them into office.
People like Barack Obama understand that neither all-out socialism or communism not all-out unbridled capitalism is the answer, that there’s a happy medium where prosperity is encouraged, yet we, as a society, commit to each other that we’re not going to leave people behind to die in the pursuit of that prosperity.
So yeah, philosophical difference.

Okay, but a lot of people are happy with England’s and Ireland’s programs, and here’s the thing: People who are anti-socialized medicine always turn to anecdotal examples to prove their points, and they always assume that if the US does something like that, then we’ll adopt Ireland’s system or Canada’s system or whatever else, but that’s just a strawman — we’ll find a system that works for us.

But that being said, Barack Obama doesn’t support full socialization of healthcare, he just wants to regulate it and make sure all citizens are insured.
The mandates only come in when children are involved.
Just like Christian Scientists don’t get to say “but my religion!” if their child dies from lack of healthcare, we as a people have to look out for those who aren’t able to make decisions for themselves, and it’s not a kid’s fault if its parents are nuts.

Here’s where I stand:
I was in the Navy for five years, served in Desert Storm, brought home a Purple Heart because I was wounded, though not seriously in the end, thankfully. After coming home and having two children, living life fairly decently, my husband was deployed with a special warfare unit to Baghdad in early 2006. If you google “Battle Of Fallujia 2007″, you can read about a baseline of what went down there. My husband dug PIECES of a US pilot out of a helo that had been shot down, so that he could bag them up and send them home to the guys family. In addition, he watched his best friend step on a mine and lose both of his legs. Again, my husband drug his friend out of harms way, and attempted to stop the bleeding as well as retrieve his legs.
His friend did not live, and my husband now suffers from severe PTSD, and on the worst days I seriously doubt whether or not he will ever be the same.
When I read attitudes like yours, I almost choke at the idea that we have gone through this—fought like this—-so that people like you can claim that you don’t want to PAY for someone else to have health care or better schools funded by the government? You don’t want to help PAY a few bucks so that the “little guys” have a better shot at growing a reasonable retirement account in the stockmarket, by useage of more regulation?

My husband’s in the military, too. I, myself was about to join the marines and request to be shipped over there- but they wouldn’t let me because of prior kidney issues. I was EXTREMELY disappointed. So, fucking please. There are many people suffering from PTSD, there are many men who went overseas to fight in this war…which, you can thank China for, if you really want to know why we’re there. China and Islamic extremism. There’s a cold war going on, and has been since the end of Clinton. Elephant in the living room.
Believe me, I know what the fuck is going on over there, and here in our VA hospitals. And, while I am extremely sorry for your husband having to see those things- that is the stuff of war. War has been occuring since tribal man. I am not sorry for war. I am sorrowful for it, but I cannot be sorry for it. It is an instrument of mankind, albeit a horrible one. It serves a function. If it didn’t we would not fight.
As for the guilt trip about healthcare- it is NOT my job to take care of other people. I’m sorry if that offends you. It is not the government’s job to dole MY money out to others. This does not mean I am not charitable. I have done charity work for CASA (domestic abuse safeplace), the VA, and put together a huge benefit show for the Cancer Center of Morton Plant. Forcing people into charity is a cynical and awful outlook on the human condition, and our constitution plainly does not support that. This country’s doctrine really is “every man for himself”. This does not mean every person has to be cold and selfish. This simply means that nobody is MAKING ME pay for or do anything that I am not directly responsible for. Anything otherwise is contrary to liberty.
Imagine my tax dollars going to a person like you, who is so hateful and wretched towards anything that is contrary to what she holds to be true? I don’t think someone like you deserves that from someone like me. Neither do I think that I deserve your tax dollars. This isn’t Russia…you shouldn’t want for your neighbor’s things.

The fact of matter is that we are in the midst of an Economic recession, all of the warning signs are there. When/if that happens, it can/will cause a credit crisis, and even the best of credit scores will have a hard time getting a loan. Many small businesses will fail because many operate on credit and have little to no liquid assets.

I live in a restored 1926 bungalow in the historic district, and drive a 2004 TDI jetta. I do work at a dead end office job right now, because I am a COLLEGE STUDENT. That’s kind of normal, I would think….hahahaha. I don’t NEED the health insurance that my job does offer, because I am a military dependent. My husband’s service pays for it. I’ve used it all of ONCE. Cause, as I’ve said before…I normally do not take prescription drugs.
That being said, I don’t really give a shit about materialism. I focus on having useful, aesthetically pleasing things, but do not care to look flashy….and when I said elitist…I was leaning more towards pretentious cunt, not “having many nice things”. Haha.
As for me looking like a tranny…I don’t fucking think so, honey. I was a model as a kid, and I’ve got what, by most standards is to be considered a perfect body…and, yes I DO have a high IQ…but, I guess I would never have said anything about either my looks or my IQ, If I hadn’t been completely wasted. So, whatever.
And I’m sure that I get pretty white trash when I’m drunk and lashing out at someone. I think many people get a little trashy when they’re drunk. But, you both are nearly as trashy when you’re completely sober. Notice, I wasn’t resorting to snipeyness about looks and character with you bitches for the most part, until I had imbibed well over 6 cocktails. Believe me, the Elitist comment that I made is not who I am. I was just angered by what Jess wrote. I am where I am today because I did come from humble means, and was never “given” anything. Both me and my husband have worked really hard to get to where we are today. My Mother, who worked at a convenience store in Louisiana, was murdered for $60 when I was 15.
