It must be so depressing…

to be so stupid that you simply don’t understand that the Oscars do not exist to give prizes to the films that the unwashed, ignorant masses like the best, but rather to honor great achievements in acting, directing, film-making, etc.

Actually, it’s probably not depressing for Ted Baehr, the writer of that piece.  Pig-ignorance, indeed, is bliss.

(They say as you get older you have more and more patience, but I’m here to tell you that I have less and less patience every day for the simply, remarkably stupid among us.)
